Melling Baptist Community Hub was set up by local people in 2008, mostly from Baptist churches in the area. We have a strong track record in North Merseyside of working within the local community.

We became aware that many of our activities were not easily accessible to residents of the growing community of Melling. With the support of the North Western Baptist Association and the Baptist Union of Great Britain, of which our churches are all members, we sought to address this need within this community. Our commitment is to work with, and serve local people, to provide a community-centred church where they can find a sense of welcome and belonging.

Our church is led by Jo Hassoun who, along with her family, lives in Melling. Church life is overseen by a management team made up of local residents and individuals with experience in faith-based community provision. We seek to operate to the highest standards of good practice, and offer a warm welcome to all members of the community who are interested in being involved.
